Kabuki

"Will you adopt Kabuki?"

Kabuki is not the only one trying to find a new home. There are many cats like him that need a home...

The very reasonable adoption fee we charge for the cats is based on the reduced rates we get fom vets sympathetic to our cause. Our adoption fee is less than either the cost of 2 sets of vaccines and anti-parasite treatments at the vet. It is also considerablly less expensive than the cost of sterlizations at the vet. Yet we include, in one low adoption fee, the cost of vaccines, anti-parasite treatments, and the sterilization. We believe that the high cost of vet fees should not prevent people from having pets, yet we must be sure that those who adopt from us have the financial means to take the cat to the vet should he or she become sick or injured. All of the cats rescued from outside have been combo-tested for FIV and feline leukemia, both infectious diseases. There is a premium on declawed cats, a procedure that normally costs in the range of $400. This helps us fund our second mandate, that of trap/sterilize/release of feral cats in outside colonies.

To adopt a cat, please contact us at cause_4_paws@yahoo.ca or come to one of our adoption days...
